Before you are able to get married, you will have to obtain a North Carolina marriage license.  You  usually go to the county clerk's office in the county you plan to have your wedding. We are located in Union County, the clerk's office is located in Monroe.

 You do not have to be current or previous resident of North Carolina to get a marriage license, so if you live in another state and would like to have your wedding here, it’s okay.
